Jack, help us shape markets

When you back affordable housing, you help us shape a more inclusive housing market for vulnerable families in Latina America. Those markets have holistic impact on:

  • Health
  • Gender
  • Equality
  • Financial access
  • Education
  • Food Security
  • Financial access

In other words, you can impact everything.

3 Billion

An estimated 35% of the global population (3B people) will need adequate shelter by 2030.

You can help write a new story

From financial exclusion to lack of innovation, many factors amplify the housing crisis. Unbanked families in the informal economy suffer the most.Without access to fair and affordable housing, families build shelters with materials they can find and afford.

The result is unsafe conditions that contribute to disease, education lag, and gender inequalities.Billions of people are prevented from participating in the market and reaching their full potential.

Unbanked shouldn’t mean unhoused

You can empower families in Latin America’s informal economy to secure safe housing. The families we support:

  • Live below the poverty line
  • Make a small but steady income in the informal economy
  • Have little to no access to traditional banking
  • Lack direct access to basic services
  • Live in overcrowded, unsafe conditions

Homes unlock opportunities for women

Land and home titles in Latin America are often in the man’s name and passed down to generations of sons. But when property rights favor males, women are stripped of economic opportunities and, at times, their safety. We ensure land and home titles are a 50-50 split in ownership between partners. Legal ownership of property gives women opportunities to break the cycle of poverty by having collateral for credit and space to build a business.

We’re pioneering better paths to safe homes

We started small in 2014 by building one home for a family in homelessness. Since then, we’ve supported 15,000 people in their transition into safe homes. And a lot has happened along the way.

  • Built the world’s first community of 3D-printed homes
  • Sold NFTs to fund homes for families lacking safe shelter
  • Named one of the world’s most innovative companies by Fast Company 4X
  • Partnering with pioneers like MIT, Coinbase, and Alexis Ohanian
  • Building the world’s first community featuring blockchain-based mortgages

Jack, we invite you to join our journey of building a world where everyone has fair access to a safe home.
